Rising for Nampa
NATALIE JANGULA NAMPA CITY COUNCIL
District Two
Meet Natalie Jangula
Natalie Jangula isn't just a name on the Nampa City Council roster; she's a fifth-generation Idahoan whose roots run as deep as the Boise River, with family heritage tracing back to America's founding revolutionaries. Born and raised in the Gem State, Natalie embodies the grit, independence, and community spirit that make Idaho home. As a devoted mom to her two teens, Kadence and Trent, she's mastered the art of juggling school runs, emotional roller coasters, and endless loads of laundry; earning her an honorary PhD in family chaos management. But don't let the soccer sidelines fool you; Natalie's got a wild side that takes her far beyond the minivan.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Natalie has conquered Idaho's rugged peaks, summiting all nine of the state's towering 12,000-footers, a feat that showcases her determination and love for the wild landscapes that define our corner of the world. Whether backpacking through remote trails, discovering hidden hot springs, or paddleboarding on Canyon County waters, she's as comfortable in the backcountry as she is at a Lions Club meeting. Her adventures aren't solo pursuits; they're a reminder that life's biggest summits are best shared with family and friends.
Natalie's journey also shines in service. Crowned Mrs. Idaho United States in 2015, she traveled the state advocating for families and community causes, later becoming the Ambassador for the iconic Idaho Potato Drop. Professionally, as a Financial Advisor Administrative Assistant at Allegis Financial Partners, she helps everyday Idahoans secure their futures, proving she's got the steady hand Nampa needs at the helm. A soprano who belts out tunes in the Millennial Choirs & Orchestras (as a proud Alto 1), volunteer extraordinaire with Make-A-Wish and Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, and active in her church and kids' schools, Natalie lives the values she champions: faith, family, and fierce community love.
In short, Natalie Jangula is Nampa's own; rooted, resilient, and ready to climb any mountain for her neighbors.

WHY NATALIE JANGULA
IS GREAT FOR NAMPA

In a city bursting with potential like Nampa, you need leaders who don't just talk about progress, they deliver it with heart and hustle. Enter Natalie Jangula: a proven councilwoman who's already logged years fighting for our streets, budgets, and families. Elected to Seat 3 in 2021 and re-elected to District 2 in 2023 (sworn in January 2024), Natalie brings real-world experience to the dais, serving as liaison to the Nampa Airport Commission and diving deep into the tough calls that keep our city thriving.
What sets Natalie apart? Her financial savvy; she's helped hundreds plan for retirement, so she knows how to stretch a dollar without shortchanging services. She's a fiscal watchdog who voted against dipping into forgone taxes when alternatives existed and pushed back on property tax hikes to fund city assets, always prioritizing your wallet. But it's her community-first grit that truly shines. From volunteering with the Nampa Lions Club to championing Make-A-Wish wishes, Natalie's no stranger to rolling up her sleeves.
Take the recent Ford Idaho Center decision: Faced with a crumbling icon that costs taxpayers millions to maintain, Natalie poured over 100 hours into meetings, forums, and strategy sessions. She led the charge to convey the 100-acre complex to the College of Western Idaho, a bold, no-cash move that preserves jobs, events, and access for Nampa families without a single tax dollar hike. Critics called it risky; Natalie called it responsible stewardship, ensuring the Center remains a hub for rodeos, concerts, and high school sports that bind us together. It's decisions like this; tough, transparent, and tuned to residents' needs, that prove Natalie's not in it for headlines. She's in it for Nampa: building a safer, stronger city where families flourish and dreams take root.
As a mom raising two kids here, Natalie gets the daily grind—the traffic jams, the growth pains, the pride in our independent spirit. She's the neighbor who'd hike a peak with you one day and balance the city budget the next. With Natalie leading, Nampa isn't just growing; it's greatening.
